Guinea Oil: In 2002 Alfredo Jones Founded Alduco an Equatorial based engineering company. The company provides services to the hydrocarbon sector in the west west and central Africa.
He studied in the uk for several years and latter on returned to Africa in 2001.
How he grew his business
Alduco bolstered the range of services it can offer by partnering with international companies.
The company has its own team of in-house engineers and technicians. However, for certain highly-specialized work it has joint-venture arrangements with international companies.

One area where it has implemented these partnerships is in cathodic protection (a process of protecting submerged structures from corrosion).
“We have successfully carried out some corrosion control solutions for clients, not just in EG, but in the greater Gulf of Guinea. And on those projects it was a combination of Alduco engineers together with our technical partners’ engineers.
CEO Leadership
Alfredo Jones in an interviews said he is trying to make his employes understand that they are fuly responsible in each of their sectors of function.
He said .. ” The company is not me alone but everyone who works and contribute to the success of the company. So if an employee does not perform it task it will affect everyone in the company. I often give them motivational talks.”
I also prefer to work as a team says Alfredo. I always remind all of them where we are all coming from.

His work Experience Before Entering in to Business
After studying mechanical engineering in the UK he worked for a number of years in telecommunication and leading oil and gas companies. It was here that i learned a lot about building a company.
