Our publisher, Simon Ateba, is writing his memoirs. He was arrested, detained and accused of being a spy for Boko Haram terrorists in 2015, and was only released after regional protests in Cameroon and Nigeria. Before that, he had been kidnapped from a bus in Lagos and dumped in the bush and left there to die. He had also been attacked by pirates on the Gulf of Guinea and was beaten to comma by pastors for taking a picture of their church in Lagos. He also worked for The News Magazine before founding SIMONATEBA.COM. Mr. Ateba is in Washington DC now to write his memoirs.
