Mahmoud SAN, OON felicitates with all Nigerians particularly Muslim
lawyers on the celebration of this year’s Eid El kabir .
Eid el kabir is a season of discipline, sacrifice and love as
exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (May the blessings of Allah be with
him) in obedience to the instruction of the Almighty Allah. It is a
period where all Muslims across the world are encouraged to show
love and foster unity among its people.
The President enjoins all Nigerians particularly legal
practitioners to embrace the teachings of discipline, love,
sacrifice and sincerity of purpose for the progress and development
of our great Nation, Nigeria and the Nigerian Bar Association
irrespective of cultural or ethnic backgrounds and beliefs.
The NBA President encourages all Nigerian lawyers to adhere
strictly to the Rules of Professional Conduct in their dealings
with Courts, Colleagues, Clients and members of the public and
eschew all acts of indiscipline that may likely bring the legal
profession to disrepute or public ridicule.
The NBA President wishes all a very happy and peaceful
celebration . May Almighty Allah accept our good deeds, forgive our
shortcomings and ease the sufferings of people around the
globe.
