Peace”, rings true in the life of late Olumuyiwa Olowokure.

Mr. Obajaja made this statement while paying tribute to the
senior bar man.

OLUMUYIWA OLOWOKURE WAS THE TRUE GENTLEMAN!

I read somewhere an admonition for men to live their lives
right so when they die the living would not have to lie about them.
I have heard funeral sermons eulogising the dead and l know if the
dead could hear the dead would be wondering if those fucking people
are talking about them! I have seen very bad and violent men die
and all you see in the obituary is “may his gentle soul rest in
peace”. I have had course to shout ‘really’ many times! How about
‘dear God, this man was a violent man whilst he lived but in your
infinite mercy forgive him and rest his violent soul’. Olumuyiwa
Olowokure is the epitome and classic example of a gentle soul. If
ever that statement rings true it rings true in the life and times
of O.O as we fondly call the man who is always smiling and will
never raise his voice. O.O was a true gentleman! May his gentle
soul rest in peace!!
