Lawyers Laud NBA President, Paul Usoro, SAN, TCCP, Says 2019 Conference, The Best Ever – TheNigerialawyer

The conferees at the just concluded 2019 NBA-AGC has lauded the
administration of Paul Usoro, SAN, for a fantastic Annual General
Conference.

At the end of conference which was held at Eko Hotel and Suites
Victoria Island, Lagos, TheNigerialawyer (TNL) took its time to
interview conferees to get their opinion on how this year’s
conference went.

Recall that before the conference, the President, Paul Usoro,
SAN, the Chairman of Technical Committee on Conference Planning
(TCCP), Gbenga Oyebode, MFR and some members of the TCCP, like
Sylvester Udemezue had said that the 2019 NBA-AGC will be a
world-class event in the history of the Association.

The responses TNL gathered from the interviewer is not far from
what was earlier speculated by the President and the TCCP Team.

The testimonies are below:

I have attended more than fifty (50) Annual General Conferences
of the NBA. I have never seen any AGM as great and as well
organized and orderly as this one.

I have attended very many international conferences and seen how
they’re organized. With what I witnessed today at this AGM of the
NBA, I can safely and proudly say, now, that Nigeria has arrived.

In his words, Paul Usoro’s administration is the best since 1981
when he started attending NBA conferences in terms of integrity,
accountability and in fact, Prudential management of NBA funds. I
was so delighted to hear from the learned silk, the approval of the

This year’s conference was super excellent, especially the quick
response of the medical services. ~Daffe Emuma, Lagos Island

This has been the best conference of the NBA so far. My concern
was the different venues they introduced and the removal of tea

The program has been very successful and they accommodated as
much lawyers as possible. The only concerns I have are: No
provision to provide sufficient of power sockets for delegates to
charge their mobile devices, no internet at harbour point, finally,
people were not aware there was a sales stand at Harbour Point. ~

The conference was fine, they did well. My only concern is the 2

This conference should be rated the best so far in terms of
organization, Administration and Management. He gives the credit to
the president. This year’s financial report is the best so. The
President will be tested more in the next AGM meeting— Chimezie

This year’s conference has been super quality of resource persons,
in fact in everything. The only areas of concern are, no tea break
this year, which is needed, also the conference fees for post-call
lawyers 10 years and above was really high.

Above all, the President is a wonderful man and he will leave a
