FELICITATION
I write with profound joy to felicitate with the EBF Governor,
S. Longwilliams Esq., Governing Council, leaders and distinguished
members of the Eastern Bar Forum on this occasion of the EBF
QUARTERLY GENERAL MEETING, holding here in the Garden City from the
15th to the 16th of November, 2019.
As I welcome you, dear colleagues, to Portharcourt, I urge us to
brainstorm more committedly on issues affecting us as a Forum, the
NBA, Legal Profession and our country Nigeria; and proffer ideas
for a more promising future.
May I seize this opportunity to, once more congratulate the new
Governing Council of EBF, this meeting being the maiden in their
tenure.
I salute the Government of Rivers State and the leadership of
NBA Portharcourt branch for providing the necessary facilities and
being good hosts as always.
While wishing us fruitful deliberations as we strive to rebuild
our dear EBF and the NBA, I pray for journey mercies back to our
various jurisdictions.

Aisha Buhari in Kogi, attends Bello’s campaign rally
First Lady, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Mrs. Aisha
Muhammadu Buhari was at Lokoja, Kogi state on Thursday,
14th November, 2019 where she attended the final
campaign rally of the APC Candidate and incumbent governor, Yahaya
Adoza Bello. Before that, Mrs. Buhari was at the Government House
to commission the newly completed Presidential Lodge. Both events
were well-attended by dignitaries including wife of the Vice
President, Mrs.. Dolapo Osinbajo, Speaker, House of
Representatives, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, National Chairman of the
APC, Adams Oshiomhole, Governor Nasir Ahmed El Rufai of Kaduna
State, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss
Mustafa as well as the hosts, Governor Yahaya Bello and his wife,
Rashida.
