Human Rights Lawyer Offers To Provide Pro Bono Services To Activists, NGOs

The founder, THE VICEGERENT LEGAL CONSULT, an
Abuja based legal Practitioner, Human and Socioeconomic Rights
Activist, Hameed Ajibola Jimoh Esq., has offered
to do pro bono services.

Hameed disclosed this on Tuesday in a chat to with
TheNigerialawyer(TNL), stating that he is humbly offering free
legal services to Nigerians, free of legal/professional fees.

The areas of coverage include:

i. Legal consultation on any legal issue/complaint.

ii. Civil matters of all categories, including fundamental
rights enforcement.

iii. Criminal matters of all categories.

The following categories to benefit from these offers are as
follows:
i. An Activist.

ii. A student-activist/advocate.

iii. Non-Governmental Organisation.

He also stated that for one to benefit from his services the
following conditions for qualification must be met.

i. The beneficiary must be an activist who is a victim by virtue
of his performance of activist roles either in a civil or criminal
matter. Or

ii. The subject matter is a public interest matter.

Hameed further stated that sufficient and satisfactory proofs in
‘C’ above must be provided to enjoy the above privileges.

His slogan for this humanitarian work is “Everything belongs to
God Almighty and to Him shall everything return!’.
