Among the successful candidates of the Nigerian Law School
called to the Bar this November, 2019 is Miss Adaobi Oluoma Okafor,
daughter of Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN. Judges, Senior Advocates,
Bar Executives, lawyers and other eminent Nigerians who could not
contain their joy converged at the Abuja branch of the law office
of Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN & Associates at Utako, Abuja,
to felicitate with him on the Call to Bar of his daughter.
The After-Call Reception hosted by the learned silk witnessed
the presence of several Justices and Judges of various courts in
Nigeria, array of learned Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Governor of
Eastern Bar Forum, Executives of Unity Bar Branch of Nigerian Bar
Association, other lawyers and eminent Nigerians.
Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN was indeed full of happiness and
gratitude while also welcoming his daughter and other successful
candidates called to Bar yesterday via his post on his Facebook
page thus:
“It was indeed a joyous moment for me and my family as my
daughter, Oluoma was called to the Nigerian Bar yesterday.
I am deeply grateful to the learned Justices and Judges of
various courts in the country, my brother silks, the Governor of
Eastern Bar Forum, the Executives and members of the Unity Bar
Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, other lawyers and eminent
Nigerians as they felicitated with me by gracing the occasion of my
daughter’s After-Call Reception with their august presence.

It is my fervent prayer that joy and celebration shall not
depart from them and their homes.
I also use this medium to heartily welcome my daughter and her
call-mates to the largest Bar in West Africa. May they find success

Adaobi Oluoma Okafor, Esq., who is a graduate of Chukwuemeka
Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State is the first child of
Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN and his wife, Chioma Okafor, Esq. It
will be recalled that Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN was a contestant
for the office of President of the Nigerian Bar Association during
the 2018 National Officers Election of the Nigerian Bar
Association.
