condoles with the family of the late Hon. The Chief Judge of Yobe
State, Hon. Justice Garba Musa Nabaruma, all the NBA branches in
Yobe State and the entire Yobe State Judiciary over the death of
the Hon. CJ of the State.
The Hon. Chief judge whose demise took place last night the
18/5/2020 at the National Hospital Abuja after a protracted illness
has left a big vacuum in the state judiciary.
He was the Chief judge of Yobe State from 2011 until his demise
last night. The late Chief Judge was one of the longest serving
Chief Judges since the state was created on the 27th day of August,
1991.
As the Chief Judge, he contributed greatly to the growth of our
Jurisprudence. While in office he brought peace to the state
Judiciary that endeared him to the hearts of Judges and staff.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, NBA Branches
in Yobe state and its environs, above all the Yobe state
Judiciary.
May the Almighty God grant the family the fortitude to bear the
irreparable loss.
