Abimbola Kayode led faction of the Nigerian Bar
Association (NBA) Abuja branch has defiled the directive of
President Paul Usoro, SAN to hold a unified election for the two
factions.
Today, the Electoral Committee of the faction 2020 made known
the outcome of the screening exercise conducted for all the
candidates.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Chairman and
Secretary of the Committee dated 21st day of May, 2020.
According to the statement, it noted that the screening exercise
for the 2020 Election which will hold in June was conducted in the
presence of all the contestants.
Meanwhile, the outcome of the exercise showed that it was
nineteen (19) candidates that were screened. While 13 candidates
were cleared, 6 candidates remained uncleared.
In addition, the statement listed the following candidates with
their respective status and reasons for the uncleared
aspirants:
