Newly appointed foreign national team coach
for the Nigerian cricket team, Asanka Gurusinha has talked about
his excitements and the challenges ahead in his new
role.
Speaking after the unveiling on Tuesday inside the
Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, Gurusinha said he is really
excited about the appointment but nonetheless a tough task for
him.

The Sri Lankan coach also revealed that he made
inquiries from the ICC before agreeing on the contract to Coach the
Nigerian national Cricket team.
“My decision to take the Nigeria job was based on the
positives he got from ICC about the West African country, he
said.
