Former Nigeria and Real Sociedad Midfielder Mutiu Adepoju has
congratulated Samuel Chukwueze after becoming the youngest player
to reach a century of games for Villarreal.
Chukwueze made his 100th first-team appearance for Villarreal in
their 4-1 Copa Del Rey win over Zamora CF on Tuesday.
The winger surpassed the record set by Mateo Musacchio, who
reached a century for the team aged 21-years, 11 months and 20
days.
“Dear @chukwueze_8, becoming @Eng_Villarreal youngest centurion
ever is a very beautiful accomplishment from you. Well-done on this
and I hope this unlocks other hidden potentials in you. Wishing you
greater successes ahead.” Adepoju wrote on Twitter.
