Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba has
announced the immediate suspension of tinted vehicle windscreens in
the country.

Baba announced this on Monday during a meeting with senior
police officers, including commissioners and Deputy Inspector
Generals from across the states.

The police chief also reiterated that roadblocks are still
prohibited in the country.
He directed heads of commands to enforce the ban and use
patrolling of roads as an alternative to blocking of roads.
